Bring down your gig memories and ephemera for them to be captured and added to our archive and talk with exhibition curators about how music and venues have soundtracked the best moments of your life.
As part of our Archive All Areas exhibition we will be running a special collection event where you can bring down any items to do with local gigs and music events, share their story and have them digitised to be added to our archive.
Exhibition curator Chris Sherrington will also be on hand to talk about the exhibition and share his own gig memories from across 20 years of shows in York. Professor of Music and StreetLife Lead Rachel Cowgill will be available to answer queries about items of musical ephemera and any weird and wonderful music-related items you currently have stowed in your attic (if it's too large, just bring a photo along).
