Description
Spend a day in the print room crafting a print you will treasure for ever. In this workshop we will spend time developing imagery that captures your personal style, translating drawn marks into print. We will take inspiration from the natural world; a variety of materials will be provided to spark initial ideas.
This workshop is ideal if you are looking to try a new medium or build on prior experience of print. The small group size means we can support everyone, regardless of experience levels but you may wish to try a shorter beginner’s workshop if you are new to print.
Becky Long-Smith is an artist and illustrator with a passion for print. Visually her work is an eclectic mix of historic and contemporary visual culture, that explores the themes of ritual, play and wonder.
Please note that lunch will not be provided. You are welcome to bring your own food or enjoy one of the many cafes York has to offer during a one hour lunch break.
