York and Us: Making a Community Heritage Map

Thursday 28th July 2022, 12:45am - 4:00pm 29-31 Coney Street

The historic city of York has many stories to tell about what it means to its people. Drop into the StreetLife Hub to think and talk about your defining memories of York and you within it, and add them onto our heritage map!

We’ll have some exercises to think through on the day, and some cards to write or draw your memory onto, but if you want to get a head start and prepare a little something in advance, have a go at one or both of these questions:

Think of 3 quick answers to these questions ‘What makes York, York?’ or ‘Who am I?’

Pick one of these answers that relates to a memory from your time in York and think about how you would share this story with others.
